Remove an FIA Product

Step #1 - Open the most current version of INDEXALYZER.

Step #2 - Go to the FIA-UPDATE tab.

Step #3 - In the Main Menu on the top of your screen, click the "Review" link.

Step #4 - A new menu will appear, click on the "Unprotect Sheet" link and enter in the current password.

Step #5 - In the Main Menu click the "View" link.

Step #6 - A new menu will appear, place a check mark beside "Gridlines", "Headings" and "Formula Bar".

Step #7 - Highlight from the last column that is shaded to the column next to it.

Step #8 - Right-click and select "Unhide".

Step #9 - Scroll down to the product you wish to remove.

Step #10 - Highlight the entire rows from the row above the first method down to the last method.

Step #11 - Right-click in the highlighted area and select "Delete".

Step #12 - Scroll over to the column that has the heading "Tie Breaker"

Step #13 - Right-click in the cell that contains the last percentage number before the #REF!'s begin and select "Copy".

Step #14 - Highlight every cell in that same column starting below the cell you just coppied down to the last product.

Step #15 - Right-click in the highlighted area and select "Paste".

Step #16 - Scroll over to the column that has the heading "ORDER".

Step #17 - Right-click on the last cell that has a number before the #REF!,s begin and select "Copy"

Step #18 - Highlight from the cell below the cell you just coppied to the last product.

Step #19 - Right-click in the highlighted area and select "Paste".

Step #20 - Scroll over to the column that has the heading "ORDER 2".

Step #21 - Right-click on the last cell that has a number before the #REF!,s begin and select "Copy"

Step #22 - Highlight from the cell below the cell you just coppied to the last product.

Step #23 - Right-click in the highlighted area and select "Paste".

Step #24 - Click on the "RATE-SHEETS" tab.

Step #25 - In the Main Menu click on the "View" link.

Step #26 - Place a check next to the Headings option.

Step #27 - Scroll down to the product you want to remove.

Step #28 - Highlight from the row above the product you want to remove down to the bottom of the product page. (If the product you wish to remove is on a page that contains other products that are not going to be removed, then you need to delete each cell that is part of the product you wish to remove.  In other words, match up the design in the spreadsheet with the pdf from the carrier.)

Step #29 - Click on the "CARRIERS" tab.

Step #30 - In the Main Menu click on the "Review" link.

Step #31 - A new menu will appear, click on the "Unprotect Sheet" link and enter the current password.

Step #32 - In the Main Menu click on the "View" link.

Step #33 - Place a check mark next to "Formula Bar", "Gridllines" & "Headings".

Step #34 - Scroll down to the product you wish to remove.

Step #35 - Highlight from the first product in the list under the carrier of the product you wish to remove down to the last product in the list for that carrier and then over to column "AE".

Step #36 - In the Main Menu, click the "Home" link

Step #37 - A new menu will appear, change the font color to the brightest yellow that is offered.

Step #38 - Delete all data in the row that the product you wish to remove is in except for data in column "U".

Step #39 - In column "U" locate and delete the name of the product you wish to remove.

Step #39a - If there are product names below the one you just deleted, highlight them and move them up one row.

Step #39b - Shade in the cell that is below the cells you may have just moved to match the color of the rest of the shading on the page by clicking into the cell and in the Main Menu, under the "Home" link select the correct shading color.

Step #40 - If the row the product you deleted is in is below the list in column "U", then highlight from the cell in column "C" 2 rows below the row of the product you just deleted over to column "AE" then down to the last product on the page.

Step #41 - Scroll back up to where you started the highlight.

Step #42 - Position your cursor on the top line of the highlighted area until the 4 arrows appear.

Step #43 - Click, hold and drag the entire highlighted area over to the right in the empty cell area after column "AT". (Be sure to leave enough room for the entire highlighted area to fit)

Step #44 - Click, hold and drag the entire highlighted area again.  This time over to column "C" in the row that you just deleted the product in.
